Thumbs Up: I can’t stress this enough, people. The new (and last) Ministry record, The Last Sucker, due 9/18 on 13th Planet Records is fucking fantastic. Like its predecessor, Rio Grande Blood, this is the Ministry longtime fans know and love. The rhythms will make your heart palpitate, the rightfully Bush-bashin’ lyrics will make you stand erect with rage, the guitars will make your soul shudder, and Al’s snide delivery will bring you to your knees. It’s all there. (Except for the Andrew WK soundalike “Die In A Crash.” That one sucks.)

Thumbs Up: I’m tellin’ you nerdbirds, the new Ministry record kicks arse.
Double Thumbs UP: La Radiolina, the genius of Manu Chao, circa right freakin’ now. This is some of the best music I’ve heard this year, without a doubt. I love the way he weaves musical themes throughout each of his records…geez. Just amazing stuff! If you ain’t diggin’ Manu Chao, you must be from outer space.
